Tanya Burr's nail varnish in Penguin Chic review

Hi guys!

So I have another review this week, I promise next week will not be a review!

I've just had the chance to paint my nails. I work with food so I can't paint them very often. But anyway, I thought I'd try out the one I bought most recently, Penguin Chic. This was also featured in my spring haul video that you can watch here.

One coat

It's a very nice taupe colour, it doesn't resemble anything I own. It's quite opaque on the first coat although I would recommend 2.

It's very easy to apply as the formulation is not too liquid and not too gloopy, just right.

I've been wearing it since last night and I did about an hour of painting this morning and got gloss paint all over my fingers (I'm a bit clumsy...) and when I washed it off, it didn't chip the nail polish in the slightest so it's quite resistant which is good.

I also found it dried quite quickly and I haven't needed to apply a top coat.

2 coats

This range is quite affordable too, around the 10€ mark.

I don't have anything bad to say about this so I'm very pleased with it! I will have to purchase some more colours!

I hope you found this interesting!

Tanya Burr’s lipgloss in Exotic Island review

Hi guys !

I have another lip product review for you this week. This was also in my haul video and my favourites video.

It’s a gorgeous fuschia pink colour and I chose it because I don’t have a colour like it in my collection.

The colour pay off is very good and it smells and tastes yummy like sweets (or candy).

It also lasts quite a long time with minimal touch ups. I find that even when most of the product has come off it leaves a tint of colour on your lips.

I’m very fussy when it comes to lip gloss and I hate anything to sticky. This is slightly sticky but it’s not too bad. The stickiness seems to only be when you apply the product too so I feel like it wears off after a few minutes.

The packaging is nice and sleek which I love.

The only thing I would say is that the applicator is quite small and flat which I find a bit harder to work with but that’s a minor detail.

I think it costs around the 10€ mark so it’s quite affordable.

I think that pretty much sums it up ! I’ve been wearing this a lot lately and I’m very happy with it so well done Tanya !

If you want to check out her channel, you can do that here.

I hope you found this useful !

Maybelline Baby Lips Hydrate review

Hi guys!

It's been a while since I've been on here and I'm sorry for that.

I recently (ish) purchased Maybelline's Baby Lips in Hydrate. It was in my monthly favourites video which you can watch here and also in a haul video that you can watch here.

Anyway, I promised a review for pretty much everything in that haul video so I'm starting with this as it has been the most used since I got it.

I've had very dry lips recently and this has helped a lot. It's a very soft texture and seems to lock in a lot of moisture.

It smells lemony and it's completely sheer just like a normal non-tinted lip balm.

I also really like the packaging, it's small, practical and colourful and fits perfectly in your handbag.

This is very cheap too. I can't remember the exact price but it was definitely under 5€!

All in all, I have no bad comments about this lip balm. I would thoroughly recommend it.

I hope you found this useful!
